A Little Bit of History

Docom started in 1998, François Cloutier worked as a sub-contractor for special wire and harness projects. He particularly managed several large “on site” cabling installations for custom equipment and control panels, even travelling around the world for some installations. As customers started to have regular based projects, the team grew with permanent technicians and so as Docom’s name. We realized that there was a need for cable “specialists”. Customers needed qualified labor and equipment, especially for complex low volume projects where high quality is the prime criteria.

Our experience and ingenuity helped a lot of customers developing new products adapted to each of their particular requirements. Now, our larger capacity allows us to produce low, medium and large volume projects, providing our loyal customers with the same personalized service and high quality products.
